Richard Masson and Sue Ann Masson founded Green Lantern Stables in 1995. Together they own and operate the breeding and racing operation as well as Golden Age Farm, a thoroughbred farm in Kentucky, and a number of crop farms in Missouri and Iowa. Richard ia a co-founder of Oaktree Capital Management, an alternative investment manager based in Los Angeles, and retired from that business to focus on his agricultural holdings in 2009.
